- Develop, monitor, and update integrated project plans and schedules to enable projects to be executed as efficiently as possible
- Prepare baseline schedules and schedule-basis documents for approval by project teams
- Assess impacts on the critical path and near-critical activities, and report findings to the project team
- Monitor schedule deviations and variances, and support the development of alternative corrective-action methods
- Prepare and provide schedule progress reports, trend charts, and schedule analysis on a periodic basis
- Maintain records of scope changes, trends, and variances that may affect schedule performance
- Ensure the credibility and reliability of the information contained in the schedule
- Review schedules regularly with project team members to ensure accurate and timely data is incorporated into the schedule
- Facilitate project scheduling meetings and/or interactive planning sessions as required by the project team
- Support resource loading
Profil
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Field of Study Engineering, Science, or Business Management degree preferred
- Language: Excellent command of English required. basic in German an advantage
- Experience: Large capital projects in pharma, biotech, or a similar industry. Advanced level of experinece
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Profound experience planning large projects (> CHF 20 million), from design through commissioning/start-up, is essential; experience with large-scale projects (> CHF 300 million) is an advantage
- Experience working in an EPCM company is essential; client-side experience is an advantage
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyse complex and large data sets, draw appropriate conclusions, and prepare and support decisions
- Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented environment
